Samantha & Price | A European-Inspired L.A. Wedding at Greystone Mansion

Samantha is an incredible stylist in Los Angeles, so when she reached out about her plans for a Parent Trap-inspired wedding day at the Greystone Mansion, I knew it would be the event of the year. Mixing together her love of this gorgeous city with classic European charm, their wedding day was truly chic from beginning to end. Capturing this stunning celebration was an absolute honor, and I’m thrilled to share their unforgettable day with you.

Iconic Los Angeles Vibes 

We started the day at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel, where Samantha got ready with her family and bridal party. As someone who resides on the East Coast, I was so excited to shoot at such a fun and notable location. The pink walls and towering palm trees were the perfect backdrop for some fun solo portraits. And we ended up having the most classic L.A. moment – as we were finishing up Samantha’s portraits in the hotel lobby, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez walked through! Ben even stopped to say congratulations to Samantha on her big day.

Greystone Mansion Weddings

If you want the look of a European wedding without leaving the U.S., there is truly nowhere better than Greystone Mansion. The Tudor-style mansion has acres of property with gorgeous fountains and towering shrubs, and Samantha and Price’s favorite – a stone terrace with a stunning view of Los Angeles. 

The property is quite large, so I traveled to L.A. a few days in advance to scope out the best spots for portraits. With Samantha and Price having both a large wedding party and family, I’m glad I was able to find the perfect spots to fit everyone comfortably! We chose to use the indoor space for Samantha and Price’s first look and then enjoyed the rest of our time walking around the gardens. 

Samantha and Price’s wedding day was entirely al fresco, from their ceremony on the lawn to dancing under the stars. Guests donned parasols for shade and watched the sunset behind the mansion during dinner. The day truly embodied her favorite character, Elizabeth James, in every way.
