BEHIND THE LENS
Before making the transition to a destination wedding photographer, I trained as an opera singer and taught as a voice professor at Princeton University. During my time here, I developed a strong appreciation for details and the authenticity of story telling—values I carry with me into my current work. Weddings are very much like a final performance - the culmination of so many ideas, preparation, and anticipation. It's a creative rush to approach each wedding with a unique vision, thinking of new ways to capture each client's story. And so important to curate a sense of ease and presence for the clients I work with, as I believe when people are truly present, they will look their absolute best.
Princeton is still my home base where I live with my husband of twelve years, who is my favorite travel companion for all my wedding weekend events.
the APPROACH
As a former performer, I value telling unique storylines while making it epic. I know when to guide (clearly and simply), and when to step back to let moments unfold. Making my clients comfortable and curating a stress free experience is my specialty, as I believe when people are truly present, they will look their absolute best.
I keep a strong pulse on the trends (who doesn't like artistic imagery?) but also know your parents will want that timeless portrait for their mantle. Based near NYC, I blend a bit of city chic into every angle.
Changing your outfit three times? Let's do it.
Every aspect of your wedding weekend is analyzed, reviewed, and well planned. I curate multiple photo plans so there's no room for error. My type A personality plans all of this so you don't have to think about anything but getting married to the love of your life.
As a bride, there’s a lot happening on the big day, and honestly, it can get a bit overwhelming. But Liz was like a calming force. She helped me stay in the moment and enjoy the day instead of stressing out. I never once felt rushed or like I had to worry about anything — Liz had it all under control.
She did not miss a single beat.
